You will need 5 or 6 apples. Red is traditional. Green is cool...
Bag o' caramel (12 oz.) and a popsicle/birdhouse stick for each.
After washing the apples turn them on their heads and insert sticks.
Melt caramel at a very very low heat with a tablespoon of h20.
Stir.
Dip and swirl apples in caramel.
Place apples head down on wax paper or vegtable oil coated plate.
Try to let cool. If you're in a hurry, fridge 'em for a half hour.
If they look really really bad, chop up your apple caramel concoction, serve over ice cream
and pretend you planned it that way all along.
